At COLOR, I helped design and animate this video for Google that helps developers understand the unique challenges you may run into in production. Our client, Forrest Brazeal, composed and performed the original song. We even got the whole team cameo’d in the last shot.
Animation Fidelity Tests
Sometimes you have to figure out exactly what level of animation fidelity you can achieve for a project's particular budget and deadline. Here's how I helped break down some options for the client! In the end, we used a mix of rigged puppets in After Effects and moments of frame-by-frame animation for impact.
